Today was a mostly fun day, even if I did go to work. Actually, I spent a few hours with Missy helping her move things along in the chart room at the Family Medicine Center. I wish we could both be paid overtime.

Afterward, we drove out toward the beaches. Between the nice weather, unfamiliar driving route, and Sonic Slush, it felt like a vacation. We tried to go to the free Blues Festival at Jax Beach, but the parking was $10. Instead, we went to Neptune Beach (we'd never been there before) and walked along the surf.

Oh, I don't think I've mentioned this yet, but we're moving! We're getting out of our charming-but-cramped apartment and moving to a rental house about 2 miles away. The best part about it is the storage shed. We'll finally be able to rid our living space of the mounds and piles of crap.
