DUDE! Posting in outline form was really quick and easy. I thoroughly enjoyed that. Prose sucks! Poetry is dead! Long live the outline!

I have now started on Gyn, a very chill rotation. It has few inpatient responsibilities, no weekend call, and no overnight call. It would be a good chance to get my life back on track, but I've needed a two-hour nap at 7pm the last two nights.

Like lead paint is sweet
But the after-effect left me paralyzed

Missy and I had a *wonderful* vacation in Charleston. We ate some really good food, wandered the city, and went to the Aquarium. I feel pretty confident that she had a good birthday. I really needed a break after the nonstop schedule I had been keeping. Sadly though, real life has started back up again.
Right now I'm in the hospital because I have a patient in labor. Earlier this morning I saw an Interesting Patient in the Cardiology clinic this morning. I get to admit her tomorrow morning. I won't get into too many details, but I like the occasional patient that is intellectually challenging.
Right now I'm watching "Levees" on Modern Marvels.
This week, we started listening to The Crane Wife by The Decemberists. While not as jaw-droppingly awe-inspiring as Picaresque, it is good solid fun. I especially like "Yankee Bayonet," a duet with Laura Viers (who we saw at SXSW).
I've always had this idea of collecting song lyrics that sit hit my brain at weird angles.
Sing, Muse of the passion of the pistol!
